Rory Waterman, associate professor of chemistry, has received a fellowship award from the Humboldt Foundation to support his research during a sabbatical next year. Waterman plans to work with Prof. Manfred Scheer at the University of Regensburg in Germany. “I hope to reinvigorate my old interest in metal-phosphorus multiple bonding,” Waterman said. “Beyond that, I hope to build some European connections to start a program in phosphorus remediation when I return.”
