Webinar recording now available online

University of Vermont President Thomas Sullivan discussed the university’s role in Vermont’s statewide economic development in an online webinar, hosted Jan. 16 as part of the Vermont Chamber of Commerce Webinar Series. The webinar was free and open to the public and a recording is now available online.

President Sullivan discussed how university programs and partnerships advance and benefit the state's economy and provide resources for businesses across the state. He also highlighted the impact of UVM alumni on Vermont's economy.

The webinar, which was followed by a question and answer session, was presented in collaboration with the University of Vermont Center for Leadership and Innovation and Vermont Chamber of Commerce. This partnership brings six UVM-focused webinars to the greater public on an annual basis. The prior webinar featured IBM engineer and self-professed “mad scientist” John Cohn, who discussed the Vermont Fabrication Lab at the University of Vermont.

Future webinars hosted by UVM will take place on Feb. 6, March 6, April 10, and June 5, 2013. Receive updates on future webinars.
