On April 19, John P. Burke, interim associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and professor of political science, delivered a paper, titled "Comparing the National Security Organization and Decision Making of George W. Bush and Barack Obama," at a conference on "Change in the White House? Comparing the Presidencies of George W. Bush and Barack Obama," sponsored by the Peter S. Kalikow Center for the Study of the American Presidency, Hofstra University.
