Katharine Shepherd, associate professor in the College of Education and Social Services, Department of Education - Special Education has recently co-written and published "Facilitating the effective implementation of evidence-based practices through teacher-parent collaboration" in Teaching Exceptional Children. She also co-wrote "Improving schools through a response to intervention approach: A cross-case analysis of three rural schools," appearing in the Fall 2011 issue of Rural Special Education Quarterly "Leading, learning, and literacy: Implementing a response to intervention approach in the Riverside elementary school" in New England Reading Association Journal.
