South African wildlife scientist Wouter Van Hoven will return to campus Monday, Oct. 24 as part of his tenure as a James Marsh Professor-at-Large -- a program that designates field leaders with international distinction as non-resident faculty who visit campus periodically to hold lectures, seminars, faculty workshops and more.

Van Hoven, director of the Center for Wildlife Management and professor of wildlife management at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, will give a lecture titled, "The Nutritional Value of Wildlife Supports African Conservations...Use It or Lose It." The lecture, free and open to the public, will take place at noon in the Davis Center's Williams Family Room. A reception will immediately follow.
