Kids With Cystic Fibrosis Breathe Easier Thanks To Video Games

Fast Company features new research by Peter Bingham, M.D., associate professor of neurology and pediatrics, presented at a recent meeting of the Pediatric Academic Societies. He shows that the attraction of computer games, when designed to use a spirometer rather than a hand-held controller to, say, make a car move, helps motivate children with cystic fibrosis to do crucial breathing exercises.
