Last week's edition of UVM Today included an article on Professor Jeremy Sibold's research exploring the impact of exercise upon improved mood. His study, presented as a poster at last May's annual meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine, found that a small investment in exercise can return many hours in improved mood. That finding inspired an anecdotal study of our own: this week UVM Today asks stalwart exercisers in the UVM community about the mental/emotional benefits of their daily workouts.
