Sharing your graduation day with family and friends -- both those who come to town for the occasion and those who can't make it -- will be easier than ever before, thanks to a few technology enhancements made available this year.

    •    Download an easy-to-use, online event system, called Guidebook. Improve your experience by accessing the commencement weekend schedule, event details, maps, local information and more on your phone or mobile device. Available for iOS, Android, Blackberry and other Web-enabled devices, completely free for all graduates and their guests.
    •    To encourage families and guests to use the Guidebook and their smartphones, iPads, and other tech devices, free, wireless access, with no need for a username or password, will be available commencement weekend. Wireless access hubs will be added to the UVM Green and Patrick Gym's Multipurpose Facility to improve access.
    •    All ceremonies will be taped and recorded by Vermont Public Television, and a live webcast will be available for each. DVDs of the main ceremony, plus one college/school's ceremony, will be available from the UVM Bookstore (phone: (802) 656-3290, toll-free: (800) 331-7305) for $37.95. Add an additional third ceremony for $16.95.
