| Biography: | Walter Roberts is a classicist specializing in ancient history
and political and moral theories of antiquity. Currently his research
projects include Aristotle's portrait of the ideal politician and good man in his /Politics/, and various topics in Roman political theory centering around Cicero's /On Duties/. Central to his research is the conflict between idealism and realism in the political and moral life of human beings.
