| Biography: | Gibson's research focuses on the economic problems of South Africa. He advises the African National Congress and development banks in South Africa and studies their economies using the method of computable general equilibrium modeling. He also is interested in the relation between the economy and the environment in South Africa, and Latin and South American structuralist macroeconomics. His scholarship has been published in a number of professional journals, including the International Review of Applied Economics. |
