| Biography: | Geiger is Pomeroy Professor of Chemistry. He received the James Crowdle Award from Canisius College in 1995 and was named a Erskine Fellow by the University of Canterbury in 2000. Among his more than 150 publications is "Redox-induced k isomerisation in hydrotri(pyrazolyl)boraterhodium complexes: synthesis, structure and ESR spectroscopy of stabilized rhodium (II) species" Journal of Chemistry Society, 2001, co-author). His recent major grants include: $532,000, National Science Foundation for "Electron-Transfer Induced Changes in Ligan Hapticity and Reactivity" 1998-2000; and, $482,000, National Science Foundation for "Electrochemistry and Spectroelectrochemistry of Organometallic Compounds, 1995-98. |
