| Biography: | Simone teaches courses in Renaissance literature and modern drama. In 1996, he introduced an experimental senior seminar called "Shakespeare on Page and Screen" that utilized a laser disc invention to mark and play back images and sequences. Simone regularly attends the annual World Shakespeare Congress, a gathering of professors, graduate students and others involved in theatre. Simone is the recipient of aUVM Instructional Improvement Incentive Grant and UVM summer research fellowships.
