| Biography: | Ross Thomson teaches courses on microeconomics, technological change, and capitalism and human welfare. He directs the Integrated Social Sciences Program, an interdisciplinary seminar program for first-year students interested in social problems and social change. Among his research interests are economic history and technological change. He is completing a book on the origins of ongoing technological change in the United States before the Civil War. |
