| Biography: | Besaw is a performer/choreographer focused on the creation of new performance work. His primary interest lies in developing original contemporary dance and dance theatre. His creative work/research focuses on close collaborations with musician/composers and theatre artists, as well as the role of creative movement in early arts training for young people. He also coordinates The Solo Workshop, a new performance/research project bringing five artists together from different arts disciplines to create an evening of original solo performances. At UVM, Besaw teaches modern dance technique, choreography, dance history, and creative movement. |
