| Biography: | Danigelis teaches courses in methods and statistics; race and ethnic relations; sociology of aging; political sociology; stratification. His current research focuses on health promotion practices among low-income women; the relationships between aging and sociopolitical attitude change/rigidification;voluntary association membership and
participation patterns among older Americans; and trends in African- American social and political attitudes and behavior. Danigelis was a 1998 recipient of UVM's highest honor, the Kroepsch-Maurice Award for excellence in teaching. |
