Biography:Golden's research focuses on applied mathematics, plasma eletrodynamics, and statistical mechanics. He has taught undergraduate classes in physical science, calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, applied mathematics for engineers and scientists, vector and tensor analysis, circuit theory, signals and systems, control systems theory, electromagnetic field theory, electromechanical dynamics; as well as graduate courses in complex analysis, advanced electromagnetic field theory, plasma physics, kinetic theory, statistical mechanics, classical mechanics and fluid mechanics. He has published papers in peer reviewed journals such as Physical Review Letters, Physical Review A, B, E, Physics of Plasmas, Physics of Fluids, Journal of Statistical Physics, Journal of Plasma Physics, and Annals of Physics. Golden is a Fellow of the American Physical Society, a Fellow of the Institute of Physics (UK), and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Physics. He is a member of the International Advisory Board for the International Conferences on Strongly Coupled Coulomb Systems.
