| Biography: | Fox has done qualitative, participant-observation research in settings that include a midwest punk community, an AIDS prevention organization, therapy groups for violent offenders in prison, and offenders reentry programs. She is a co-author of "Ethnography Unbound: Power and Resistance in the Modern Metropolis," and has published articles in the journals Social Problems, The Sociological Quarterly and Deviant Behavior. Fox received UVM's Kroepsch-Maurice award for excellence in teaching in 1999. |
