| Biography: | Maltby is associate professor of nursing. She is interested in community partnerships that provide a holistic approach to enhance health and quality of life of populations at risk. Research areas include qualitative methods, community health nursing, community support issues and transcultural nursing. Recent publications include "Is it possible to ensure equality of access to health care for migrants to a new country?" (Living in a New Country: Understanding Migrants' Health, 1999). She has also worked on an internet information and support service for adolescents coping with cancer of a friend or relative. |
