| Biography: | Elizabeth Pinel got her Ph.D. in social psychology at The University of Texas at Austin. She studies the self in social interaction, with a special emphasis on how self-needs play out in people's relationships with others. She has published several papers on the experience of being a target of stereotypes as well as on the closeness that stems from shared subjective experiences. |
