|Biography:||Alessandra Rellini received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Texas at Austin after a predoctoral internship at Yale School of Medicine. Principally, her work focuses on female sexual dysfunction. Dr. Rellini is the director of the Sexual Health Research Clinic, a laboratory specializing in the assessment of physiological, subjective, and biological responses to sexual stimuli.
One of the main research topics addressed by Rellini and her students is the sexual function of women with a history of sexual abuse. Rellini also collaborates with the UVM Women's Center and the UVM Health Promotion Services to increase safety on campus through the implementation of empirically based prevention programs.
