Biography:Harvey-Berino's responsibilities include statewide leadership in extension educational programs on consumer issues of diet, nutrition, health and fitness, as well as interpreting research findings and developing nutrition education programs for youth and adults. Scholarly interests include development and testing of behavior modification programs aimed at changing individual preferences and eating behaviors; this scholarly effort is directed toward improvement of the nutritional status, health and fitness of a rural, agriculturally based community.
