Political science professor and Saudi specialist Gregory Gause provides his analysis for this NPR story on the recent diplomatic downturns between the United States and Saudi Arabia. The Saudis have been unusually vocal about their dissatisfaction with the U.S. government, particularly in regards its actions (or lack thereof) in Syria.
