Fans can get to know the Vermont women's basketball team a little better between now and the first preseason game on October 31 versus Laval. Each day until the game a new Q&A session with a Catamount will be posted at UVMathletics.com.

CATAMOUNT TIP-OFF
Fans can also get their first look at the 2009-10 Catamounts in action on
October 24 at noon at the 2009 Catamount Tip-Off presented by TD Bank.
Both the men's and women's basketball teams will hold brief scrimmages and
participate in a dunk, three-point and 2-ball contest. For more

The women's basketball team will host Laval on October 31 at 1 p.m. in a preseason contest at Patrick Gymnasium. UVM will also play Franklin Pierce College, a Division II school from the Northeast-10 Conference, in the second game of a basketball doubleheader with the Vermont men's team on November 7 at 4:30 p.m. at Patrick Gymnasium.
The Catamounts, the defending America East Champions, will open the 2009-10 season at the Sheraton Wolfpack Invitational on November 13-14. UVM takes on Western Michigan at 6 p.m. in the first round on November 13 and will face either Florida International or NC State at 6 or 8 p.m. on November 14.

Once again this season, all games can be heard on locally on WVMT-620 AM or
via the Internet at SportsJuice.com. Live video, on a pay-per-view basis
of $7 per game, will be available for all HOME games via B2 Networks.

TICKETS
Starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, October 26, all Vermont men’s and women’s
basketball tickets will go on sale for the 2009-10 season. Individual game
