A new automatic gate is being installed at the Davis Road entrance to Redstone Campus off of South Prospect Street.  The purpose of this gate is to reinforce the one-way into campus traffic pattern at this location and improve safety for pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles on South Prospect Street.

The traffic pattern on Davis Road will remain the same. Cars entering campus from South Prospect Street should approach the gate at a slow speed and it will automatically open.  The gate will not open for cars attempting to exit campus onto South Prospect Street. The gate is expected to become operational shortly after the start of the New Year. There may be test periods prior to full operation. Update signage will be placed on Davis Road to alert drivers of the status.
