University of Vermont College of Medicine faculty and Vermont Cancer Center members Kim Dittus, M.D., Ph.D., and Patricia O'Brien, M.D., kicked off the Clinical Neuroscience Research Center's 2009 Summer Lecture Series on August 17 at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel & Conference Center in South Burlington, Vt. Their lecture, titled "'Chemobrain': What Do We Know?" was the first of three consecutive Monday night presentations in this annual series, which is hosted by the Clinical Neuroscience Research Unit in the department of psychiatry.
Additional presenters include Magdalena Naylor, M.D., Ph.D., professor of psychiatry and director of the MindBody Medicine Clinic, and the team of Paul Newhouse, M.D., director of the Clinical Neuroscience Research Unit, and Peter Casson, M.D., director of the division of reproductive endocrinology and infertility in the department of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences.
