UVM Eco-Reps are students leaders who model and promote environmental responsibility on campus. They are now hiring for 2012-2013. They are seeking thoughful and organized undergraduate students to educate their peers, foster sustainable behavior, and build community.
Current Eco-Reps Provide...
Professional development opportunities, leadership training, actions and goals, supplies, and occasional free food!
New Eco-Reps Provide...
Enthusiasm, creativity, engagement about ecological living with other students in residence halls, regular attendance at weekly meetings.
Together, All Eco-Reps...
Eliminate waste, promote recycling and compost, reduce energy use, launch environmental campaigns, and increase eco-awareness among students.
***Applicants must live in Residence Halls to be an Eco-Rep.***
UVM Eco-Reps are paid to work 4-6 hours per week and do not need to have work study. All accepted Eco-Reps will enroll in a 1-credit class: ENVS 095: Eco-Reps, Environmentally Responsible Behavior.
