Faculty Lunch Forum
Faculty Lunch Forum with Sherwood Smith, Department of Leadership & Developmental Sciences, College of Education & Social Services.
Space is limited to the first 10 faculty members that register.
Lunch will be provided through Waterman Manor.
The Center offers these forums as a time and place for faculty to discuss the connections they have made between their curriculum and pedagogy. The forum seeks to:
?Provide a faculty colleague?s personal narrative on piece(s) of course content used to incorporate issue(s) of diversity and ideas behind its? selection.
?Engage groups of faculty in conversation on their personal approaches and processes for teaching about issues of diversity as an entry into a larger conversation.
?Share ideas, challenges, innovations, questions and success to enrich our collective knowledge.
This semester, our focus will be on two questions:
?What is one critical concept about diversity for you?
?How do you help students understand the link(s) to the discipline
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, e-mail address, department and phone number.
