Heritage Film Screening: Precious Knowledge
Student Life is happy to announce their Heritage and Awareness Film Series for Fall 2013. Each month, we will display and discuss films pertaining to cultural, gender and heritage identity.
Films are held on Thursdays in the Chittenden Bank Room on the fourth floor of the Davis Center. Screening starts at noon followed by an informal discussion.
At Tucson High School, ethnic studies programs have improved graduation rates among Latino students. But when books are banned and the programs eliminated, teachers and students fight back in a modern civil rights struggle. [Run time: 70 minutes]
