WHEN I'M NOT ALONE: Student Life Heritage and Awareness Film Series
Student Life is happy to announce their Heritage and Awareness Film Series for Fall 2013. Each month, we will display and discuss films pertaining to cultural, gender and heritage identity.
Films are held on Thursdays in the Chittenden Bank Room on the fourth floor of the Davis Center. Screening starts at noon followed by an informal discussion.
WHEN I'M NOT ALONE
Bold and passionate, WHEN I'M NOT ALONE tells the story of Sam Durbin, who was born female but raised as a male, experienced unspeakable abuse, never learned to read or write, and drifted in and out of institutions. This is his personal story. [Run time: 30 minutes]
**Free lunch is provided.
