LANE SERIES PRESENTS: Ethel
Called "vital and brilliant" by the New York Times, the String Quartet ETHEL has been a post-classical pioneer since it was founded in 1998. ETHEL invigorates contemporary concert music with exuberance, intensity, imaginative programming and exceptional artistry with an eye on tradition and an ear to the future. The centerpiece of their program, entitled GRACE, is ETHEL's own adaptation of Ennio Morricone's Oscar and Golden Globe winning score to the 1986 film, The Mission.
