Faculty Recital: D. Thomas Toner

Prof. D. Thomas Toner of UVM¿s School of the Arts Program in Music will present a faculty percussion recital that features collaborations with School of the Arts programs in Art and Art History and Theatre and Dance. Prof. Toner will be joined by fellow SoA faculty members Julian Barnett and Avi Waring, dance, and Matt Larocca, music, as well as dancers Clare Byrne, Hye-Won Hwang, and Willow Wonder. Pieces include ¿To the Earth¿ (for flowerpots and speaking percussionist) and ¿Terrestrials: life on the ground¿ with choreography by Prof. Paul Besaw, and ¿Ashes in the Night Sky¿ set to images by Prof. Bill McDowell. Event is free and open to all.
