Campus Food and Energy Seminar

The Campus Food and Energy Seminar Series will examine the connections between food and energy systems, with a focus at the institutional level. In this first seminar, Doug Lantagne, Director of the UVM Food Systems Initiative, will speak on the goals of the seminar series and the opportunities for UVM's campus food system to be a leading model in university food service. Eric Garza will provide a short presentation on how food and energy systems interact at local, regional, and global scales. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A/discussion session, at which participants will be encouraged to share questions, ideas, and inspirations for sustainability in the UVM food system.
