Required for: All employees engaged in servicing or maintenance activities on machinery or equipment where an unexpected release of stored energy could result in serious injury or death.
Frequency: Initially, Refresher training must be attended annually, re-training is required whenever there is a change in job assignments or change in the Lockout procedure/program, or whenever there is a reason to believe that an employee has not followed required lockout procedures.
