Training:

Required for: All employees involved in hot work including Supervisors, Permit Authorizing Individuals, Hot Work operators and Fire Watch personnel.

Frequency: Initially, Refresher training must be attended annually including Fire Extinguisher Training. Additional re-training is required whenever there is a change in job assignments or change in the Hot Work Permit procedure/program, or whenever there is a reason to believe that an employee has not followed the required hot work procedures.
