The Automotive Shop performs most repairs on University vehicles, preventive maintenance, auto body repairs and refinishing, and state inspections for UVM-owned vehicles. These services are charged to departmental budgets.  The Shop is located at the Fort Ethan Allen in Colchester, about 3 miles from the main campus. Staff work from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. each working day, enabling repairs to be done during off hours. For convenience, the shop will pick up UVM vehicles from any campus location, and usually return them prior to the start of the next working day.
