Hike to Abandoned North Winhall Once located on the Peru Turnpike and the Bondville Road, North Winhall had a school house, charcoal kiln, two sawmills, a tavern, post office, houses and barns. The 1.5-mile easy hike will visit cellar holes of almost all. Depending on time, weather and interest, might hike to other charcoal kiln ruins in the area.
