Membership in the Green Mountain Chapter of Alpha Zeta is by invitation only.

Invitations are sent out in spring semester to students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences as well as the Rubenstein School of the Environment and Natural Resources. Students must be in the top 2/5th of their class (Sophomore, Junior and Seniors), based on their academic status of the end of the previous fall semester.

Those who have been sent an invitation to join can download the Membership Application Form and complete the form by typing directly into the highlighted boxes. This form must accompany your membership application fee by the day/time noted in your letter of invitation to Anne-Marie Resnik or Whitney Northrop in Room 117 Jeffords Hall (Plant and Soil Science Main Office).

Alpha Zeta is a professional, service, and honorary agricultural
fraternity for men and women; it seeks to develop leadership skills in
individuals to benefit agriculture, life sciences, and related fields.
There are over 100,000 members around the world!

The Green Mountain Chapter of Alpha Zeta was started in 1905 and is
part of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at the University
of Vermont. During the school year, the organization participates in
service projects around the local community.
