Alternative Spring Break

WHO WE ARE

For over 18 years, the University of Vermont's Alternative Spring Break (ASB) program has offered students opportunities to do service in communities outside of their own by sending groups on week-long, substance-free volunteer trips over spring break. In helping organizations in every part of the country, our program has allowed for personal growth among participants, experience with volunteer work, training in social justice, increased awareness about particular issues, and networking between our university and many communities across the nation.

Our trips revolve around issues such as environmental conservation/justice, poverty, gender diversity, education inequality, disabilities, and disaster relief work, This year we are planning for fourteen trips with the goal of opening this popular and successful program to more students than ever before!

Feel free to shoot us an e-mail with any questions, and we hope that you apply!
