Battle of the Bands (BOTB) is a weeklong event that showcases local student bands in Brennan's, and lets students vote their favorites into the Finale.
Bands with one or more students from UVM can send in a submission.
The set length will be about 20 minutes long.
There is no entry fee for bands, and anyone can attend.
The preliminary rounds will be in Brennan's Pub and the finale will be in the Grand Maple Ballroom. Both of these locations are in the UVM Davis Center.
The winner of BOTB will be the opening act for Springfest.
You need to send in a submission online through the online form or turn in a demo CD to the UPB office located in the SGA offices on the third floor of the Davis Center.
Sound connections and lights will be provided. You will need to bring your own equipment/instruments.
Submission Deadline: February 1st Notification of date of play: Monday, February 4th Battle dates: February 11th, 12th and 13th Finale Date: The finale will take place in a place to be determined, on February 15th.
