Ferguson’s Fault Lines and the Reverberations Around the Nation

It has been 2 ½ years since Michael Brown was killed and 2½ years since the birth of what we now simply refer to as Ferguson. What happened that day on August 9, 2014? What happened in the weeks thereafter? Why did Ferguson erupt? Were there any lessons to be learned from that eruption? Did we learn them? How are things different today because of Ferguson? Where do we go, should we go, can we go from here? These issues and more will be explored in the discussion with Professor Norwood on Ferguson’s Fault Lines and the Reverberations Around the Nation.

Keynote Speaker: Kimberly Norwood, J.D.

Hosts: Provost & Senior VP Dr. David V. Rosowsky and President Tom Sullivan, J.D.
