Conference Assistant

Job Description:

As a Conference Assistant, you will gain invaluable event planning and management experience, learning important aspects of event coordination such as catering, furniture setup, production of marketing and meeting materials, and audio/visual and other technical support. Conference Assistants work closely with our Conference Coordinators to learn how to plan the logistics of various conferences and events for a wide variety of clients and how to use our state-of-the-art scheduling and space diagramming software. Conference Assistants should be highly organized and detail oriented, able to present themselves in a professional manner and enjoy working with customers. Ideal candidates are also tech savvy and familiar with the UVM campus /Burlington area.

Due to the nature of the events that we manage, the ability to work 10-20 hours per week and be available evenings and weekends is essential to gain the most from this position.
