• Be a first-generation college student (neither parent completed a baccalaureate degree) or
• Be from a limited-income family or
• Have a physical, learning, hearing, visual, or psychiatric disability, attention deficit (hyperactivity) disorder, chronic illness, or brain injury.

Our federal grant requires that 2/3 of all participants be both first generation and limited income.

In addition, the U.S. Department of Education requires that all candidates:

• Hold US citizenship or a permanent residency visa
• Have documented academic need
