Trismarter.com is a triathlon coaching and sports nutrition service that was started by UVM alums Walter DeNino '98 and Marcus Garand '98. As the UVM Triathlon Club grows, Trismarter.com has offered training program and sports nutrition guidance to active Club members. TRAINING SCHEDULE:
Monday: Biking at 4:15. Meet at the airport. Tuesday: Running at 5:15. Meet at the airport. Wednesday: Swimming 8:30 - 10pm. Thursday: Biking at 4:15. Meet at the airport. Friday: No practice scheduled. Saturday: Swimming 10am - 12pm. Sunday: Swimming 6 - 8pm.
In addition to the regular schedule, club members can post times when they will be practicing to the Listserv. |

Club Athletes Excel in UVM Triathlon |

On April 22, thirteen club athletes competed in the UVM Triathlon. In a strong showing, the club took 6 of the top 8 places in the Women’s Race as well as 2nd and 3rd in the Men’s Race. Congratulations to Women’s Overall Winner Kathy Schneider, Age Group Winners Justin George (Men 19 and Under) and Daniel Bensen (Men 20-29), and everyone who took part in the race. Full Story. |

This is the clubs fourth year recognized and we are continually looking for new members and ideas about how to progress as a club. The club is open to all levels of athletes and its main focus is to facilitate the personal goals that you as a multi-sport participant set for yourself. In endurance sports, training with other motivated people can be a huge asset to your overall progression and enjoyment of your workouts. |

UVM Triathlon Places First in the NECTC |
|
With a strong performance in the NECTC Championship, UVM Triathlon finished the 2007 race season tied for first place in conference as a team with 430 points. The season was highlighted by our team victory at the Lobsterman Triathlon, 2nd place at the Cranberry County Triathlon, and 3rd place at the Fingerlakes Triathlon and the MightyMan Conference Championship in addition to strong individual performances from Emily Gassman (2nd place at Lobsterman, 8th overall for the season), Kathy Schneider (3rd place at Lobsterman, 5th overall for the season), Madeline Murphy-Hall (2nd place at Fingerlakes), and Shannon Bradley (6th place for the season).
