ENVS 195 Sustainable Transportation Planning - This course will explore the energy and environmental impacts of auto-dependence as will policy solutions such as transportation fuel alternatives, reducing driving and alternative modes.

TRC 310 Leadership in Transportation, Government & Non-Profit Organizations - This course will explore the leadership approaches in transportation today. How do transparency, citizen participation, communicative rationality contribute to the leadership of today? How do the approaches differ between government and non-profit sectors if at all? Students enrolled in this course will examine leadership issues, and have the opportunity, first hand, to meet key Vermont and U.S. transportation and government leaders.

CE 241 Traffic Operations & Design - Advanced concepts of traffic engineering and capacity analysis; highway and intersection capacity; traffic analysis and simulation software; design and application of controls.

CE 295 Design for Bikes & Pedestrians - This course will introduce engineering design concepts and principles to address the needs of bicyclist and pedestrians using a systems view contextualized by the bicycle and pedestrian master planning process.
