Advisors
The Transportation Research Center (TRC) is guided by three groups of advisors. First, as required by UVM's internal guidelines for research centers, the TRC has an advisory group of deans from the colleges which have faculty involvement at the center.
Second, the center has a Faculty Advisory Committee of seven core faculty members with direct experience in transportation. The committee first met in April 2007, and now meets twice per year.
Finally, the center has an external advisory committee of stakeholders and experts from within Vermont and beyond. Advisors meet by phone and in person as both large and small groups. This External Board of Advisors plays an important role in research topic and project selection.
