UVM Parking Permit Sales are Open

AND IT'S EASY!

The on-line student parking permit process is currently open for eligible on and off-campus students wishing to purchase one semester or full academic year permits. Any temporary-type of permit must be purchased directly through our office.We begin enforcement Monday, August 31, 2015 at 7:00 a.m.

  • Under "Permit Types", choose what you are eligible for
  • In right-hand column under Forms:, click on "Online: Purchase Permits and/or Manage Parking Account"
  • Log in with your netid and password

We do not mail permits. See below for regular business hours, extended hours and locations to pick up your permit. Don’t forget your ID!

Commuter Students:please make sure you use the address you will be living at in the fall, and check your address against the close proximity map.

Quarry Hill / Sheraton Hotel residents:Because of construction on campus involving residential buildings and affecting parking lots, Sheraton residents and ALL Quarry Hill addresses are now subject to the close proximity rule. Please choose the Commuter Evening (gold) permit as your option. Please visit the Quarry Hill /Sheraton page for CATS schedule.

Redstone Lofts / Redstone Apartment tenants or subtenants: UVM parking permits are not available for Re

On-Campus Housing: The deadline has passed to have your permit delivered to your residence hall. Please pick up your permit during our regular or extended hours and locations.

  • Permit Types

    Resident

    Students who are eligible for a permit, and who reside on campus may park in their assigned residential area, or in other areas designated by Transportation and Parking Services, from Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. At all other times, residential student permits may park in any non-restricted University lot.

      • Black
        Residences: Converse;
      • Blue
        Residences: Austin, Harris, Living/Learning, Marsh, Millis, Tupper, and U-Heights North and South;
      • Red
        Residences: Christie, Coolidge, Davis, Hamilton, Mason, Patterson, Redstone Hall, Simpson, Slade, Wilks, Wing, and Wright;
      • Purple
        Residences: Cottages, Hunt, McAuley Hall, McCann, Mercy, Ready, Richardson, and Sichel;

    Commuter

    • Sheraton residents and ALL Quarry Hill addresses are now subject to the close proximity rule. UVM parking permits are not available for Redstone Lofts or Redstone Apartments tenants or subtenants.

    Students residing within the "Commuter Proximate Area" (i.e. those who are ineligible for a day time campus parking permit), are eligible for a Commuter Evening Parking Permit for use after 3:30 PM, weekends and Administrative Holidays in any faculty / staff lot on campus excluding visitor areas and areas posted for student residents.
