Chittenden County Transportation Authority (CCTA) Partnership
CCTA is the public bus service for North-Western Vermont. It is headquartered in Chittenden County and also serves the surrounding counties. See the CCTA Website for schedules and service announcements.
CCTA and UVM
CCTA and UVM collaborate on a number of projects.
The primary benefit to the UVM community is fare-free, unlimited access to the CCTA system for all UVM full-time students, staff and faculty. This is provided by Transportation and Parking Services in conjunction with the Campus Area Transportation Management Association (CATMA).
To take advantage of this program just swipe your valid UVM ID card (CATcard) as you enter the bus. Eligible persons will be issued an ID with a picture of the Ira Allen Chapel and the Billings Student Center.
