Kerry Swift is Interim Director of the Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC). Prior to being appointed Interim Director, Kerry was a Technology Licensing Officer at the OTC since arriving at UVM from M.I.T. in 2004. At M.I.T.’s Technology Licensing Office, Kerry licensed M.I.T. technologies in the biomedical and device sectors for six-and-a-half years. She holds a Master of Science in Molecular and Microbiology from Tufts University and is a magna cum laude biochemistry graduate of the University of New Hampshire.
At UVM, Kerry facilitates the disclosure of new technologies and their transfer to both established and new start-up companies for commercialization. Kerry also supports UVM’s industry-related research activities with her experience in negotiating a wide variety of funding and research support agreements with both large and small companies.

Dr. John N. Evans is Senior Advisor to the President of UVM and Professor in the College of Medicine. As Senior Advisor, Dr. Evans is responsible for fostering the commercialization of intellectual property of the faculty, staff and students of the University. He is also charged with building and enhancing strong relationships between the University and the private sector in Vermont, the region, and across the nation.
Dr. Evans serves as President of the Vermont Technology Council (VTC), a consortium of State leaders working to engage higher education, government and the private sector to build a strong and prosperous economy. Dr. Evans is a founding member of the Vermont Center for Emerging Technologies (VCET), and currently serves on its board.

Beth Hill holds degrees in both English and Psychology, and is a native Vermonter. Prior to joining UVM, Beth was a Senior Publishing Assistant with Dartmouth Journal Services, publisher of Science, Medical and Technical journals world-wide.
