Todd S. Keiller offers an extensive background in licensing, business development, and marketing. His work in the industrial sector has included ten years in the Science and Medical Products divisions of Corning Glass Works and encompassed a variety of sales, marketing, and business development roles.
Todd’s academic licensing experience includes the position of Vice President for Ventures at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He has additional licensing experience in a variety of scientific fields.
Todd is the founder of six companies. The most recent are CorAutus (formerly Vascular Genetics, Inc.), a publicly-traded gene therapy company, and Tolerance Pharmaceuticals, a diagnostic and therapeutic company recently acquired by Roche and focusing on transplantation and immunosuppression.
In 1998, Todd joined the University of Vermont and assisted the College of Medicine in technology affairs. In 1999, he was appointed Director of Technology Transfer for the entire University.
Todd holds an AB from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business Administration.

Kerry Swift assists Todd Keiller in the management of technology transfer initiatives and supports Ruth Farrell at UVM's Office of Sponsored Programs in industry-related research activities.
Kerry brings to the University of Vermont experience in negotiating a wide variety of industry agreements with both large companies and startup firms. Prior to joining UVM, Kerry served for six years in the M.I.T. Technology Licensing Office. She holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from Tufts University and is a magna cum laude biochemistry graduate of the University of New Hampshire.
Beyond her professional interests, Kerry is an outdoor enthusiast and a regular participant in the Head of the Charles and other rowing events.

Steve Wernicki focuses on industry agreements and technology
transfer in the areas of engineering, mathematics, computer science,
physical sciences, and medical devices. He brings to the University
of Vermont experience in both industry and government agreements,
and intellectual property management.
Prior to joining UVM, Steve served as a senior licensing associate for Partners Healthcare (Massachusetts General Hospital) and held engineering, program management, and intellectual property management positions with the Naval Undersea Warfare Center.
Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a MPA from Indiana University, and JD from Western New England College School of Law. Steve is also a registered patent attorney.
Steve enjoys four full seasons of active endeavors in Vermont, including hiking, kayaking, skiing and biking.
