The formal tech transfer process begins when you submit a confidential disclosure form. In your disclosure, you provide information that includes a description of your invention, contact information, funding sources to date, prior publications, and commercial contacts.
Optionally, you may begin your collaboration with OTT by submitting a pre-disclosure form. This form includes the same information as a disclosure form, but our staff only performs an informal review.
If you choose to submit a pre-disclosure form, we will contact you with an initial assessment of your invention's commerical potential. Please note that OTT will take no further action on a pre-disclosure, and the formal process will not begin until we receive an actual disclosure form.
