Now Accepting Faculty applications for Spring 2009!

Technology Collaborative Action Teams Program

Welcome!

The TechCATs projects all strive to increase student engagement and learning by making the classroom not just a place with walls, but also a space that can be available any time you have a network connection.
My role as the TechCATs coordinator revolves around the facilitation of the technology projects on campus between faculty and students in the TechCATS program. I bring my expertise in instructional design, educational leadership, and solid educational technology skills to each TechCATs project team.
The University of Vermont is a learning laboratory in the best sense of the word, and placing students in a role of mentoring faculty enhances learning for everyone. Students are a wonderful resource for technology expertise as well as ideas of how to apply this to new learning environments. Student seek opportunities to serve their campus community by honing their own expertise and applying it to help others.
I love working with all of the TechCATs projects as we develop the curriculum and leaders of the future right here at the University of Vermont.
